DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices in Banking Sector

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be a banking company (Private Sector Banks, Public Sector Banks, Payment Banks), operating in India, and should have been providing banking related services as per RBI norms.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices in IT-ITeS/BPM Sector – Large

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be an organization from IT-ITeS/ BPM sector operating in India.
  • Applicant must be operating for a minimum of 3 years in India with a turnover of INR 1000 crores or more for the financial year 2018 – 2019
  • Applicant would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices in IT-ITeS/BPM Sector – SME

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be an organization from sector IT-ITeS/ BPM sector operating in India.
  • Applicant must be operating in India with a turnover of less than INR 1000 crores for the financial year 2018 – 2019.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices in Energy Sector

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be an energy sector organization operating in India (Petroleum, Oil & Gas, Power - Coal, Nuclear, Renewable sources of energy (Hydro, Solar, wind, etc.)), and primarily working in generation, transmission or distribution of energy.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices in Critical Information Infrastructure

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be critical infrastructure organization operating in India. (Transport, Telecom, Government etc.)
  • Applicants belonging to the Banking, Large Schemes for eGovernance, Insurance and Power & Energy sector are not eligible for this category and have to apply in the respective categories (separate categories have been defined for these as part of the Awards).
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices in Insurance Sector

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be an insurance company (Private or Public Sector), operating in India and should have been providing insurance services as per IRDAI norms.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices in Retail Sector

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Organizations must be providing Retail services in India over the Internet for B2B, C2C and/or B2C market segment (e.g. eCommerce, Retail, App Based retail services).
  • Applicant must have been operating for a minimum of one year in India.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices in Government Agencies

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be a Government entity of India. This can be a department / ministry / other government entity.
  • Applicants undertaking Large Schemes such as Smart Cities, National / State Health Insurance, and Citizen Id Program are also eligible to apply under this category.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Security Practices in Small Finance Banks

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be a Small Finance banking company registered as a public limited company under the Companies Act 2013, operating in India and should be providing small finance banking related services as per regulatory requirements.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Security Leader of the Year

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Individual must have been performing leadership role (Fulltime) in security domain for an organization as a CISO/ CSO/ VP/ Director/ Security head or equivalent.
  • Individual can be from either public or private sector in India.
  • Individuals nominating for ‘Privacy Leader of the Year’ category cannot nominate in this category.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Privacy Leader of the Year

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Individual must be in a leadership role in privacy.
  • Individual should be from private or public sector in India.
  • Individual for whom privacy management comprises at least 25% of his / her role.
  • Individuals nominating for ‘Security Leader of the Year’ category cannot nominate in this category.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Privacy Practices in IT-ITeS/BPM Sector

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be an organization from IT-ITeS/ BPM sector operating in India.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Best Privacy Practices in B2C sector

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be an organization, other than IT-ITes/BPM sector operating in India (could include sectors such as Telecom, Bank, Energy, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Insurance, Hospitality and Aviation etc.)
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations.

DSCI Excellence Award for Cyber Security Services

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be a cybersecurity services provider (consulting, implementing and managing operations) organization operating in India and should have been offering and delivering cyber security/ information security services to customers in India and/or across the globe.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations
  • Applicants with security product as a service are not eligible to apply to this category as separate category is provided for the same.

DSCI Excellence Award for Cyber Security Education

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be a recognized university/college/institute and should have been offering cyber security/ information security course/degree approved/accredited by any central/state/deemed university in India.
  • The course/degree should be functional for-at least two years.
  • Your application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more different nominations

DSCI Excellence Award for Raising Security Awareness

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be an organization/entity operating in India and should have been running cyber security awareness programs sensitizing cyber security/ information security to citizens and / or consumers of their own organization in order to improve the cyber security preparedness of their own organization.
  • Organizations which raise security awareness as part of its business activities are not eligible to apply in this category.
  • Application would be eligible for evaluation only if this award category receives 3 or more nominations
